David Hook, who is a certified Drone pilot, contacted the Film Makers of San Antonio to come and talk with us about filming with drones and the laws we should know about. He educated us on the rules of flying a drone in a city during the day and at night. Many of our members had lots of questions because they all realize that they will eventually at some point use a drone for filming.
We talked with David about collaborating on future film shoots and he said that he would be happy to work with us on filming so we now have a licensed drone pilot who knows all the rules for filming so we don't have to worry about getting into any trouble with the law now if we need to shoot with a drone. Very awesome!
Last night some of our actor/actresses and crew members worked hard on completing their next short. We were close to wrapping the whole project except we needed to do one last scene the correct way and decided to finish it next monday. In the meantime our editors will take the footage we shot and start assembling everything so that way once we get our last shot they can just add it in real quick, do some color correcting and then we can post it on our YouTube channel. If you want to watch behind the scenes, add us on Snapchat and watch what we worked on. All the scenes will be gone by 9:30 pm today.
